In a heartfelt display of unity and resilience, Reeves County is answering the call to support fellow Texans impacted by devastating floods in San Angelo. At 6:00 AM on Wednesday, July 9, the Reeves County Road & Bridge Department departed from headquarters, heading east with critical supplies in tow.

This mission is part of a broader wave of compassion sweeping across the state and beyond, as communities rally to aid flood victims. But amid the global support, it is the unwavering strength and solidarity of Texans helping Texans that stands out most.

“As our team heads to San Angelo, we’re reminded that in heartbreak and in hope, Texas stands strongest—together,” Digital Media Director Daniel Alvarado said. “We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers, generous contributions, and especially for those working tirelessly on the front lines.”

The convoy's supplies are expected to help address immediate recovery needs in San Angelo, where communities continue grappling with the aftermath of severe flooding.
